Access Hire firm that hired out boom lifts to contractors. This team hired out diesel and battery powered cherry pickers as well as scissor lifts. My job was to assist in the yard as and when I was required and from time to time I would get the change to carry our site visits long with another representative from the
Access Hire firm. They would perform free site surveys for the client and pinpoint the type of machinery that would be suitable for the site in question. The self propelled booms proved to be extremely popular and it`s not that difficult to understand why. For starters they would be delivered to site ready to go to work straight away. Once on site they could easily be moved from one location to the next and provide simple access as it was required. Straight telescopic versions offered site operatives a large work area and articulating cherry booms were exceptionally good at reaching up and over tricky obstacles. I enjoyed the summer that I spent working for the
Access Hire firm and I learnt a thing or two about booms whilst I was there.
